Hello Everyone,
We had a lively meeting on May 18 with our Tea Party. Please see the Fun Times tab for highlights of the event. Albuquerque Fiber Arts Fiesta happened and many of our Thimbleweed Quilters participating. The show had so many beautiful quilts and other fiber based art to view and some intriguing shopping too. Albuquerque Fiber Arts Council will have its Education Committee Show in April 2018 and the next Fiber Arts Fiesta is planned for May 2019. Thimbleweed Quilters have a lot planned too. Two classes will be presented at the June meetings. Kennie W is presenting the Candle Wreath project on June 1st. Please contact her if you want to participate but haven't signed up. Faye H is presenting an easy pre-quilted Sling Purse project at the June 15 meeting. Please let her know you want to participate. Supply lists for both of these classes are under the Upcoming Classes tab. On July 6 Debbie Jones is presenting a class for us titled “Butterfly Garden” $35 registration continues through June 15. Sounds like Summer is off to a busy project filled start. See you there!
Happy Stitching, Holly P

Hello Everyone,
Our first meeting of May was a jam-packed morning of information and frivolity. Grace won the rework quilt from our Outdoor Quilt Show raffle. Sandra Eichenberg, owner of Quilts Ole, gave us some insight on the quality of fabrics available at your local independent quilt shops and how she chooses bolts to have in the shop. Finish-it-Club participants were busy and lot of great project were shown. Please check out the regular section of this blog for photos of these and information on upcoming meetings and events. Our next meeting on May 18 will be our annual Tea. Please contact Anna Mae F if you want to participate but still need to sign-up.
