Plain Geometry Amish Quilts  International Folk Museum Sante FeIn the Neutrogena Wing
March 3, 2013-September 2, 2013

The exhibition explores the aesthetics of Amish quilts by considering what the quilting tradition grew out of and how they changed in a changing world. Approximately 35 quilts from the museum and local collectors' collections illustrate religious proscriptions, westward migration, and interaction with 'English' neighbors.

Linda Cotton's Quilt

Linda Cotton is moving to Arizona.  She is in the process of selling her home and preparing to leave us.
Thimbleweeds would like to make her blocks to say thanks for knowing you and being in Thimbleweeds.
The colors for the block PINK &  WHITE
The size:  8 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches unfinished.  Finished 8 inches by 8 inches
Make your block what you like to make.    Your choice!
It would be nice if you signed the block that is your choice.
Marlene Walker will be collecting these blocks so at your first opportunity make one and
give it to me at the Meetings.  We do not know when she is leaving.
Questions:  Give me a call 867-4250
I’ve told Linda what we are doing and she “yes” I love Pink, I just always thought her as in the Pink.
